Portrait of the author Jo Atlas.

Jo Atlas writes contemporary fiction and suspense. With a penchant for morally ambiguous characters, her stories linger in your thoughts well beyond the final page.

Several of her short stories have been published and she is a recipient of the story.one Young Storyteller Award. Currently, she is working on her debut novel Welcome to the Family.

Before initiating her career in writing, Jo got a graduate degree in comparative literature and political science from LMU Munich. She has run the NYC marathon, gone diving with sharks, and survived an ambush in the forests of Guatemala. She lives in Munich with her partner and their two mischievous tomcats, where she has set up her personal library in the living room.
